We are currently seeking a creative, passionate, and driven Videographer / Editor (Intern) to join our dynamic media and communications team. In this role, you will play an integral part in capturing campus life, academic events, promotional content, and engaging stories for our growing digital platforms. Key Responsibilities- Shoot high-quality video footage of university events, lectures, interviews, and campus activities using professional camera equipment.
- Edit raw video footage, incorporating audio, color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects to produce polished final outputs.
- Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize creative storyboards and video concepts for social media, web, and internal campaigns.
- Manage and organize digital media assets, ensuring proper file naming, archiving, and accessibility for future projects.
- Assist with lighting, sound recording, and set preparation during both indoor and outdoor video shoots.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging video trends, editing techniques, and industry-standard software to continuously improve content quality.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mass Communication, Film and Television Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic understanding of operating DSLR and mirrorless cameras, lighting kits, and professional audio recording equipment.
- Strong creative eye for composition, storytelling, and pacing with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- A portfolio or reel showcasing previous videography and video editing work is required.
