About the Role
Resortlife.travel, a premier travel-tech company booking Maldives resort holidays since 2006 and representing over 180 resorts, is looking for a talented and experienced Podcast Host and Producer. In this fully remote role, you will lead our dedicated show exploring the beauty of the Maldives, luxury resorts, and the hospitality industry, utilizing cutting-edge digital platforms to share captivating stories with travel enthusiasts worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Research, pitch, and book high-profile guests including resort managers, executive chefs, marine biologists, and travel creators.
- Host and lead engaging, well-prepared interviews for both audio and video formats.
- Plan comprehensive episode outlines, including topic selection, research briefs, targeted questions, and run-of-show documents.
- Manage end-to-end production for remote recordings and occasional on-location resort shoots, collaborating closely with our video editor.
- Shape the overall show format, publication schedule, and promotional social media clips to maximize audience engagement.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience hosting or producing podcasts, video shows, or interview series.
- A robust portfolio of previous episodes or interviews demonstrating your hosting and production capabilities.
- Exceptional spoken English and a natural, confident, and engaging on-camera presence.
- Proven expertise in guest outreach, relationship management, and booking high-value industry professionals.
- Familiarity with remote recording workflows and on-location crew coordination.
- Prior work experience within the travel, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors is considered a strong advantage.
