About the Role
Olam Agri, a market-leading and differentiated global food, feed, and fiber agri-business, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President and Profit Center Head to lead our operations in Nigeria. In this executive role, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations while ensuring strict compliance, environmental sustainability, and robust financial profitability. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, managing large-scale capital projects, and strengthening our market leadership within a complex and regulated operating environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage comprehensive end-to-end operations, encompassing strategic planning, advanced processing, and seamless export execution.
- Define and execute high-impact strategic plans, driving business expansion initiatives alongside large-scale capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expense (OPEX) projects.
- Deliver exceptional financial performance by achieving rigorous targets for trading volumes, gross contribution, overhead management, and overall profitability.
- Drive the corporate sustainability strategy, guaranteeing strict compliance with global certifications and rigorous environmental standards.
- Manage vital stakeholder relationships, fostering positive engagements with government regulators, local communities, key customers, and prominent industry players.
- Build, inspire, and develop high-performance cross-functional teams through exceptional leadership, active mentoring, and structured career development frameworks.
- Master's Degree in Business Management, Agriculture, Forestry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive professional experience in operations, supply chain management, or senior business leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex P&L accounts, large multidisciplinary teams, and multi-location operations.
- Strong exposure to regulated, large-scale, or sustainability-driven industrial environments.
