About the Role
Compovine Technologies is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Maintenance Officer to oversee our corporate fleet and ensure optimal operational efficiency. You will manage repairs, routine servicing, and logistics to support our nationwide business activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair schedules for all company vehicles to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults promptly and coordinate with reliable third-party mechanics and service centers.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of fuel consumption, vehicle mileage, maintenance costs, and repair history.
- Ensure all company vehicles comply with Nigerian road safety regulations, valid insurance policies, and proper documentation.
- Supervise drivers and coordinate vehicle deployment for official assignments and logistics operations.
- Procure quality spare parts and accessories while managing the maintenance budget effectively.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Vehicle Fleet Officer or Maintenance Officer, preferably within a structured corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of automobile mechanics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license and good knowledge of Nigerian routes and traffic laws.
