Compovine Technologies is seeking a dedicated and proactive Vehicle Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all company vehicles.
- Coordinate prompt repairs, routine servicing, and inspections with certified mechanics and third-party vendors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and insurance renewals.
- Monitor vehicle health and address mechanical issues swiftly to ensure safety and compliance with Nigerian road standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for basic on-site maintenance.
- Liaise with drivers and department heads to schedule vehicle usage and optimize route logistics.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance expenses, and vehicle depreciation for management review.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Fleet Officer, Vehicle Maintenance Officer, or similar role within a structured organization.
- In-depth knowledge of automobile mechanics, vehicle parts, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license and a clean driving record.
