About the Role
Coca-Cola, the world's most iconic beverage brand, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Utility Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing operations in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining essential plant equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality utility services to our production lines and facility areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor steam boilers, air compressors, power distribution equipment, and other utility systems to ensure reliable service delivery.
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on all utility equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Maintain carbon dioxide (CO2) access points strictly according to operational specifications.
- Conduct systematic equipment monitoring using established checklists, document findings accurately, prepare shift operation reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Execute equipment lubrication as specified in the lubrication chart and maintain a clean, stain-free workspace.
- Ensure all safety sensors, reflectors, and machine safety controls remain fully functional at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HQSE) guidelines, utilizing company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
- HND or BSc in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical experience gained within a manufacturing, shopfloor, or production environment.
- Solid understanding of plant HQSE modalities, safety codes, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience participating in cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with current manufacturing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong oral communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
