About the Role
Millie's British International School (MBIS) is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Upper Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Ibadan. In this role, you will facilitate the foundational development of our pupils by delivering an engaging, well-structured British curriculum that encourages confidence, academic excellence, and lifelong learning within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum and school standards.
- Assess, mark, and monitor pupil progress promptly while providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and carers.
- Create and maintain a stimulating, well-organised classroom environment that fosters academic achievement and wellbeing.
- Promote positive student behaviour and uphold the school's core values at all times.
- Maintain accurate records, administer formal assessments, and support safeguarding and welfare policies.
- Minimum of a B.Ed in Primary Education Studies, or a B.Sc/B.A/HND combined with a PGDE from a reputable institution.
- At least 3 years of continuous post-NYSC primary teaching experience within an international school setting.
- Must reside in Ibadan and live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jericho.
- TRCN certification is highly desirable and considered an added advantage.
- Proficiency in core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Science, supported by strong ICT and classroom management skills.
