About the Role
Sundry Foods Limited, one of Nigeria's leading food services companies operating renowned brands such as Kilimanjaro Restaurants and Pizza Jungle, is looking for a dynamic Unit Accountant. Since 2004, we have expanded to over 100 branches nationwide, providing great-tasting, healthy food. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the accounting and treasury functions at the unit level to ensure smooth daily financial operations.
- Safeguard the company's current assets through diligent monitoring, accurate record-keeping, and strict adherence to internal controls.
- Manage cash flows, petty cash, reconciliations, and financial reporting specific to the assigned operational unit.
- Collaborate with branch management to analyze financial performance and control operating costs.
- Perform any other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by the Manager responsible for your primary assignment.
- Minimum of a Second Class Bachelor Degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer literacy skills.
- Working knowledge of an accounting software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is an added advantage.
- Demonstrates a strong positive attitude, high resilience, and the ability to be self-led and self-motivated.
