About the Role
The Concept Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Underwriting Executive to join our growing Credit Risk and Underwriting department on a hybrid work basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing the creditworthiness of customers, reviewing comprehensive credit applications, and ensuring strict compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory KYC requirements to safeguard the organization's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Review and assess the creditworthiness of potential customers utilizing established risk criteria and financial data.
- Analyze quantitative information to support objective, data-driven credit decisions.
- Examine credit applications thoroughly to identify deviations from company credit policies.
- Communicate required amendments and quality assurance issues clearly to relevant business teams.
- Ensure all necessary credit approvals, KYC documentation, and supporting files are complete and properly executed.
- Conduct thorough credit bureau searches, email verifications, and prepare Transaction Consummation Reports.
- Support ongoing loan covenant monitoring, risk-rating activities, audit preparations, and recovery efforts.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated professional experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or credit risk management within the financial services sector.
- Strong ability to interpret complex financial statements and quantitative data accurately.
- In-depth understanding of credit assessment principles, KYC guidelines, and documentation requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, and Audit.
