We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, playing a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity and driving departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the smooth, accurate, and efficient running of all cost control functions within the Accounting Department.
- Assist with the effective management of the department in alignment with Hyatt International Corporate Strategies and brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and investigate any discrepancies or variances.
- Analyze food, beverage, and operational costs to identify potential savings and improve profit margins.
- Collaborate with various hotel departments to maintain strict cost-control measures without compromising guest satisfaction.
- Meet employee, guest, and owner expectations by delivering timely and accurate financial reports.
- Possess a relevant degree or diploma in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience as a Cost Controller within a large-scale hospitality or service operation.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess excellent analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and financial accuracy.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
