About the Role
Growth in Value Alliance (GVA) Partners is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides by defining how the application looks and functions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, marketing teams, and engineers to deliver intuitive, user-centric solutions that drive engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Translate complex product requirements into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI designs using Figma.
- Conduct usability reviews, user research, and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior effectively.
- Maintain and actively contribute to the company's comprehensive design system and adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.
- Produce high-quality UI/UX design ideas and solutions through storyboards, visual designs, process flow diagrams, and site maps.
- Collaborate with internal and external marketing teams and designers to ensure tailored, seamless digital experiences.
- Facilitate the gathering and evaluation of user requirements in active collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects meet defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field with a minimum of a Second Class Lower (2:2).
- 4 to 15 years of solid professional product design experience with a demonstrable, strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proven ability to interface with multiple business functions and organizations in defining and managing successful project delivery plans.
- Exceptional leadership and coordination skills when working alongside cross-functional technical teams.
- Deep understanding of UX research methodologies, interaction design, and modern interface standards.
