About the Role
Ardova Plc is a leading Nigerian integrated energy company dedicated to powering lives through reliable distribution of petroleum products and quality lubricants. As we expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a creative and user-centric UI/UX Designer to craft exceptional digital experiences for our customers and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into elegant, accessible, and engaging web and mobile interfaces that reflect our commitment to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Design intuitive UI elements including screens, menus, widgets, and navigation flows for web and mobile applications.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, personas, and customer journey maps.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and drive iterative product improvements.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain and scale the organisation’s design system to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Incorporate accessibility standards (WCAG) and leverage AI-powered design tools to enhance output efficiency and inclusivity.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2:2 in Information Technology, Computer Science, HCI, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in UI/UX design, product design, or a similar role, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in modern design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, and FigJam.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) and agile product development frameworks.
- Relevant certifications from recognized bodies like Google, NN/g, or IxDF are a distinct advantage.
