About the Role
Enugu Air is a rapidly expanding, state-owned airline established by the Enugu State Government under the leadership of Governor Peter Mbah, serving as a key economic catalyst to transform Enugu into a premier regional logistics hub. We are currently seeking a highly organized and operationally focused Turnaround Coordinator to manage all ground activities required to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely turnaround of our aircraft. The successful candidate will act as the vital communication bridge between flight crews, ground handlers, engineering teams, and passenger services to deliver exceptional operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all critical activities associated with aircraft arrival, ground turnaround, and departure operations.
- Serve as the central point of contact for ground handling teams, ramp operations, engineering, and catering services.
- Monitor strict turnaround timelines to guarantee compliance with scheduled departure times and On-Time Performance (OTP) targets.
- Oversee passenger boarding, disembarkation, and baggage loading processes to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure seamless delivery of aircraft cleaning, fueling, water servicing, and catering provisions.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and generate detailed station reports for management review.
- Enforce strict adherence to Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regulations, airport safety procedures, and company policies.
- Bachelor degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in airline operations, airport ground handling, or ramp services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft turnaround procedures and ground support processes.
- Relevant aviation certifications or ground operations training will be an added advantage.
- Valid evidence of completion or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
