About the Role
Cedarville School, a premier Christian co-educational institution located in a serene estate in Akobo, Ibadan, is seeking a dedicated and organized Tuck Shop Manager to oversee our daily school store operations. In this role, you will ensure our students and staff have access to quality snacks, beverages, and school supplies in a welcoming and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the school tuck shop, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reorder supplies as needed.
- Ensure the tuck shop is clean, well-organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service to students, teachers, and school visitors.
- Monitor sales performance, track daily revenues, and prepare financial reports for school management.
- Coordinate with school vendors and manage product pricing for profitability and affordability.
- Minimum of a relevant academic qualification (OND, SSCE, or equivalent).
- Proven work experience in retail, store management, inventory control, or a similar role.
- Strong basic numeracy and computer skills for managing sales records and inventory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness with cash handling.
- Reside within Akobo, Ibadan, or its immediate environs.
