About the Role
Skache Integrated Services Limited is looking for a dedicated and professional Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of vehicle care. Key Responsibilities- Secure cargo properly, ensuring correct arrangement and weight balance within the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.
- Ensure all mechanical issues are addressed and corrected before driving.
- Plan efficient routes and consistently meet delivery schedules.
- Comply with all traffic laws, road signs, and truck driving regulations.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations immediately.
- Perform daily truck maintenance tasks, including refueling and cleaning.
- Handle loading and unloading of goods as required.
- Interact with customers in a professional, courteous, and polite manner.
- Minimum of an SSCE, GCE, or NECO qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional driving experience with articulated trucks.
- Must possess a valid Class G driving license and standard driving license.
- Strong working knowledge of Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo state routes.
- Good basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Well-mannered, articulate, and able to understand all road signs.
