About the Role
One Acre Fund is a pioneering nonprofit organization supplying smallholder farmers in East Africa and Nigeria with asset-based financing, agricultural training, and free tree seedling distribution to reduce hunger and poverty. Established in 2018 and headquartered in Minna, Niger State, our Nigeria program currently serves over 100,000 unique farmers through our core, retail, and agroforestry initiatives. We are seeking a dynamic Trees Execution Specialist to drive operational excellence, manage complex field logistics, and scale our impact across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Own and maintain operational data management protocols across seedling production, farmer enrollment, and distribution.
- Design, build, and maintain advanced data dashboards to track real-time operational KPIs, inventory, and performance metrics.
- Lead expansion mapping efforts, conduct nursery location feasibility studies, and standardize operational launch playbooks.
- Drive continuous productivity, operational efficiency, and year-on-year unit cost reductions through rigorous process optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Expansion, and Tech teams while managing vendor and resource procurement relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate geographically dispersed field teams to achieve operational targets and maintain high performance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Agroforestry, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant professional work experience, including successfully leading teams and implementing field-level projects.
- High proficiency in advanced data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or advanced Excel.
- Proven track record of managing complex logistics, inventory, and distribution operations in a rural context.
- Strong strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and execute pragmatic decisions.
