We are currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Treasury & Finance Officer to join our finance team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee end-to-end import trade finance transactions, optimize treasury operations, and maintain robust relationships with our banking partners to support our expanding business footprint across Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end import trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit, Bills for Collection, Form M, and other trade instruments in alignment with CBN and regulatory guidelines.
  • Liaise directly with commercial and correspondent banks regarding funding requirements, trade documentation, and prompt query resolution.
  • Process treasury transactions, monitor daily cash positions, and execute inter-company and inter-entity payment instructions.
  • Utilize Oracle Cloud ERP for transaction processing, financial records maintenance, and comprehensive reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate treasury reports, trade finance trackers, and management dashboards using advanced Microsoft Office applications.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline reconciliations and routine financial workflows.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, corporate treasury policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Logistics, and Group Treasury to ensure the timely execution of import-related financial commitments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in treasury, trade finance, or banking operations within a structured corporate environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of import trade finance, regulatory frameworks, and CBN compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using Oracle Cloud ERP, specifically within Finance and Treasury modules.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency in complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
