We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Treasury Assistant Manager to join our finance team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will spearhead our treasury, liquidity, and investment operations, ensuring optimal capital allocation and robust financial controls to support our continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily cash positioning, liquidity planning, working capital requirements, and comprehensive cash-flow forecasts.
- Optimize cash conversion cycles and oversee efficient deployment of available company funds.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with commercial banks, financial institutions, investors, and funding partners.
- Support debt raising, refinancing initiatives, working-capital facilities, guarantees, and various corporate funding arrangements.
- Assist with fundraising activities, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and strategic transaction execution.
- Contribute actively to corporate budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance metrics, market trends, and operational drivers to deliver actionable management insights.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and support strategic capital allocation decisions across the business.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA.
- 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in treasury management, corporate finance, investment analysis, or banking.
- Proven expertise in cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning, investment appraisal, and capital raising.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, accounting standards, debt structures, and financial controls.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Prior experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics is considered a strong advantage.
- Possession of a CFA or MBA is an added advantage.
