About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian catering, hospitality, and entertainment conglomerate, is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Internal Control Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will safeguard our assets, ensure financial integrity, and drive operational efficiency across our diverse business units, specifically focusing on our restaurants and Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust internal control policies, procedures, and systems to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Conduct regular financial, operational, and compliance audits across restaurants, QSRs, and other hospitality units.
- Evaluate inventory management processes, cash handling procedures, and supply chain workflows to prevent leakages and fraud.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for executive management.
- Collaborate with operational heads to ensure adherence to company standards, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and conduct follow-up reviews to measure effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (ICAN).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven internal control or audit experience within the hospitality, restaurant, or QSR industry.
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and excellent communication abilities.
