We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven Treasury Assistant to join our growing finance team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring cash flow, controlling banking operations, and maintaining financial accuracy in alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient management and control of all company bank accounts and operating systems.
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations against the General Ledger and clear assigned accounts in conformity with IFR standards.
  • Verify cash transactions, investigate discrepancies, and propose effective resolutions promptly.
  • Provide strategic financial inputs and recommendations to management to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Handle interest and debt analysis while preparing accurate, timely financial reports.
  • Manage the company cash management system and oversee secure payment mechanisms.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
  • Proven proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Word, and advanced spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to meeting and surpassing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with staff and management.
