Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Mental and Psychiatric Nursing to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials in line with current global standards and Nigerian university regulatory requirements.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical postings, and field attachments.
- Assess student performance through examinations, continuous assessments, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Engage in impactful academic research, publication, and community outreach initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee works, and university-wide academic events.
- Mentor students academically and professionally to ensure holistic personal development.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) degree and a Master's degree in Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A PhD or ongoing doctoral studies in Psychiatric Nursing will be an added advantage.
- Current active practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the tertiary education level or relevant clinical psychiatric nursing practice.
- Strong research profile with peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
