Victory Empowerment Centre is looking for a passionate and results-driven Training Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in facilitating our group lending methodology, which is an essential ingredient to sustainable economic growth. You will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs that guide members through self-selection, basic social indicators, and economic empowerment. Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive training modules focused on group lending methodology and financial literacy.
- Guide community groups on self-selection processes based on established social and economic indicators.
- Facilitate smooth access to microfinance resources by educating members on organizational structures and guidelines.
- Assess training effectiveness and provide continuous feedback to improve program delivery and impact.
- Collaborate with field officers and community leaders to identify training needs and community development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and progress reports.
- Possession of an HND or Bachelor Degree in relevant fields such as Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in training, community development, or microfinance operations.
- Strong understanding of group lending methodologies and grassroots empowerment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to sustainable economic growth.
