About the Role
Nigerdock Nigeria Plc - FZE is West Africa’s leading industrial corporation focused on oil and gas construction, major marine services, and industrial training, strategically located on Snake Island Integrated Free Zone, Lagos. We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Traffic Marshal to join our dynamic team and ensure the safe, efficient movement of vehicles across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Terminal Warehouse Supervisors and the Marine team to coordinate vehicle management and prevent traffic congestion between the Popular Jetty and road networks.
- Conduct mobile patrols of road networks to ensure free-flowing traffic and monitor overall compliance with transit guidelines.
- Plan, allocate, and efficiently manage traffic marshals, giving priority to traffic-critical areas across the facility.
- Communicate any bottlenecks promptly to relevant parties for quick resolution and minimized disruption.
- Report all gross traffic offenses and incidents directly to the HSE management team to maintain strict safety standards.
- Ensure effective cleanliness and housekeeping within all road networks and operational access points.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily traffic and incident reports to management.
- Minimum of an HND or BSc in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Previous related experience in traffic management, logistics, or security operations, preferably within an industrial or maritime environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stressful situations calmly.
