About the Role
Estymol Oil Services, a premier management consulting firm, is currently recruiting a dynamic and customer-focused Ticketing Officer on behalf of our esteemed client, an IATA-licensed travel agency. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional travel management solutions, ensuring seamless flight bookings, and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Handle flight reservations, re-issues, cancellations, and ticketing for local and international travel using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus or Sabre.
- Provide expert travel advice, itinerary options, and competitive fare quotations to corporate and individual clients.
- Process ticket refunds, exchanges, and manage schedule changes in compliance with airline policies and IATA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all travel transactions, daily sales reports, and client account documentation.
- Resolve customer complaints and travel discrepancies promptly and professionally to ensure high retention rates.
- Stay updated on changing airline policies, visa requirements, and destination guidelines to provide accurate information to travelers.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant field.
- Certified in IATA/UFTAA Foundation or GDS training (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) is strictly required.
- Proven work experience as a Ticketing Officer or Travel Consultant within a licensed agency.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and problem-solving abilities.
