About the Role
The Nigerian Air Force Headquarters comprises specialized staff branches that formulate policies and drive operational excellence across strategic domains. We are seeking qualified and dedicated Nigerian citizens to join our ranks as Tradesmen and Tradeswomen. In this vital role, you will apply your technical expertise, mechanical skills, or specialized training to support aircraft maintenance, logistics, administration, communications, and ground operations, ensuring the continuous and efficient deployment of air power in service of the nation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical, mechanical, or administrative duties within designated staff branches and operational units.
- Support aircraft engineering, armament design, maintenance, and equipment provisioning to maintain high operational readiness.
- Execute logistics, procurement, and infrastructure maintenance tasks according to Nigerian Air Force standards.
- Maintain administrative workflows, personnel records, and regulatory compliance within assigned departments.
- Participate in specialized institutional training, drills, and continuous professional development programs.
- Must be Nigerian citizens by birth.
- Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit, meeting the minimum height requirement of 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.
- Applicants with ND or NCE must possess at least a lower credit from an accredited institution.
- Must possess a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS.
- Applicants applying as drivers and other specialized trades must possess the relevant Trade Test certificate and a valid driving license.
