About the Role
Strivo Labs is a forward-thinking technology company helping businesses scale with speed and precision through innovative digital solutions. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and commercially astute Trade-In Pricing & Commercial Analyst to drive our device valuation, pricing models, and costing strategies. In this role, you will leverage market intelligence and robust financial data to ensure our trade-in offers remain competitive while strictly protecting company margins.
Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and update dynamic pricing models and price matrices for mobile devices based on brand, specifications, and physical condition.
- Monitor secondary market trends, competitor trade-in programs, FX movements, and new device launches across physical and online channels.
- Calculate comprehensive device costs, including acquisition, diagnostics, refurbishment, spare parts, and logistics.
- Establish and enforce minimum margin and recovery thresholds while analyzing the financial impact of promotional campaigns.
- Ensure all pricing activities comply with governance controls, maintaining accurate, auditable records and supporting internal finance teams.
- Prepare insightful reports and interactive dashboards tracking price movements, offer acceptance rates, and average acquisition costs.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in pricing, costing, financial, or commercial analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex modeling, lookups, pivot tables, and scenario analysis.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or smartphone hardware specifications and depreciation trends is a distinct advantage.
