About the Role
Aldelia Limited is currently hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Trade Finance Analyst to join our dynamic operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in assessing trade opportunities, underwriting transactions, and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of financed trade operations within a fast-paced commodity trading environment.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and recommend viable commodity trade opportunities by conducting thorough commercial due diligence on suppliers and buyers.
- Analyze transaction economics, expected margins, cash flow, and potential risks including price volatility and creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed trade investment memoranda and manage end-to-end trade finance drawdowns and facility settlements.
- Coordinate commodity purchases, quality inspections, and logistics with suppliers, independent agencies, and warehouse operators.
- Monitor active trade finance portfolios to identify early warning signals and ensure timely repayments.
- Produce comprehensive transaction profitability reports, inventory tracking summaries, and market intelligence briefs for management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in trade finance, commercial banking, commodity trading, credit analysis, or supply chain finance.
- Strong understanding of working capital financing, transaction structuring, and financial modeling with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
