About the Role
Asset & Resource Management Holding Company (ARM) is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping investment strategies, executing trades, and managing fixed income portfolios to maximize returns while strictly adhering to client mandates and risk profiles. You will leverage your strong analytical skills to conduct comprehensive market research, build valuation models, and contribute innovative ideas to our product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and implement robust investment strategies and action plans aligned with client mandates and risk appetite.
- Conduct ongoing top-down and bottom-up market research to assess economies, asset classes, and individual fixed income securities.
- Execute trades efficiently, disseminate approved orders to counterparties, and ensure accurate transaction posting.
- Perform detailed financial, product, and trading analysis alongside building comprehensive valuation models.
- Prepare periodic portfolio review reports, performance appraisals, and strategic presentations for clients and senior management.
- Contribute actively to new product development and process improvement initiatives within the portfolio management team.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certification in finance or accounting such as ACA, CFA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in a similar portfolio management or fixed income role.
- Prior experience in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) will be considered an added advantage.
