About the Role
Jobtion Consulting, a premier human capital and workforce solutions firm founded by Juliet Kekporo, is seeking a dedicated Toddler and Nursery Class Teacher on behalf of a reputable client in Lagos. In this role, you will shape young minds by providing an engaging, safe, and nurturing environment that fosters foundational learning and holistic child development in alignment with sustainable educational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons focusing on EYFS areas including communication, physical development, literacy, and mathematics.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and emotional well-being of all children while managing combined toddler and nursery age groups with patience and creativity.
- Observe, assess, and document developmental milestones, identifying early learning needs or behavioral delays for appropriate intervention.
- Establish strong partnerships with parents through daily feedback on feeding, toileting, and developmental progress.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, nannies, and school staff to maintain a stimulating classroom environment.
- Minimum of an NCE or B.Ed in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
- 3 to 4 years of proven teaching experience handling combined Toddler and Nursery classes in a reputable school or crèche.
- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework and Montessori approach is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional patience, high energy, genuine passion for early childhood development, and excellent communication skills.
- Must currently reside in Lagos, Nigeria.
