About the Role

Lumos is revolutionizing energy access by offering clean, reliable, and affordable solar power as a service to millions living off the grid in Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to spearhead our expansion in Ovia South West. In this pivotal role, you will champion sustainable energy solutions, replacing hazardous fossil-fuel generators with modern solar electricity for homes and small businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive field sales and distribution of solar products within the assigned territory to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  • Identify and acquire new customers through direct field sales, community engagement, and strategic market activations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners to increase product adoption and retention.
  • Conduct regular field visits, prospecting, and door-to-door sales activities to generate leads and close sales opportunities.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, usage, and flexible mobile payment options to improve user experience.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Collaborate with internal sales operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against KPIs and submit accurate field reports.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in field sales, business development, or channel management within renewable energy, microfinance banking, telecommunications, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy financing models and local market dynamics in Nigeria.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a self-driven, results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for field operations and partner engagement.
