About the Role
Join GUO Transport Company Limited, a leading transportation provider established in 1980 and a trusted name in Nigeria's transport industry. We operate an extensive network serving over 200 destinations across Nigeria and West Africa, transporting millions of passengers annually while maintaining high safety and service standards. We are recruiting four Terminal Operations Officers to manage critical operational functions at our terminals in Abakaliki, Afikpo, Enugu (Ebonyi), and Alaba (Lagos).
Key Responsibilities- Monitor vehicle movements and coordinate arrivals and departures to maintain operational efficiency
- Ensure vehicles are dispatched according to approved schedules and designated routes
- Track vehicle availability and allocate buses to scheduled trips promptly
- Oversee boarding, loading, departure, and arrival processes to maintain service quality
- Identify and promptly escalate operational delays for swift resolution
- Maintain effective communication with Terminal Managers and the Operations Department
- Ensure strict compliance with company operational procedures and safety standards
- Address vehicle shortages, breakdowns, and other operational challenges immediately
- Coordinate with drivers and operational staff to ensure smooth trip execution
- Monitor driver punctuality and readiness for scheduled departures
- Proven experience in terminal or operations management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of transportation operations and vehicle management
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
