About the Role
Alpha Mead Group, a leading Total Real Estate Solutions Company certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards with operations across Africa, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Facility Manager (Electrical) to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this strategic role, you will act as the corporate Subject Matter Expert for electrical engineering within our facilities management division, delivering innovative engineering solutions, driving technical excellence, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal facility performance.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert for electrical engineering and building services within the facilities management division.
- Lead comprehensive Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs), inspecting electrical, HVAC, and associated building systems to identify operational risks and failure points.
- Formulate data-driven corrective action plans, lifecycle interventions, and capital expenditure recommendations based on meticulous audit findings.
- Conduct high-level technical feasibility studies for facility projects, upgrades, and engineering modifications, ensuring safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee multidisciplinary technical teams and specialist vendors, ensuring strict compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management protocols.
- Champion a zero-fatality Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture across all operational sites and facility projects.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 3 years directing integrated technical facility management environments.
- Active professional credentials such as COREN, IFMA, or PMP are strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC chillers, large power distribution arrays, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for budgeting, data modeling, and forecasting.
