About the Role
Scruples Resources is currently seeking a highly skilled Drilling and Well Intervention Subsea Advisor III for an exciting offshore opportunity at the Oso Platform in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will provide expert guidance on discipline engineering work, ensuring all offshore activities align with company specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while driving operational excellence across our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary company representative for interfacing with subsea trees, hangers, wellheads, and subsea pressure control equipment during planning and execution phases.
- Lead surface integrity tests (SITs), witness recertification processes, and oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT and EFAT).
- Coordinate subsea equipment and ROV aspects for drilling, completions, and well intervention risk assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive brownfield survey, deployment, and retrieval procedures for subsea equipment and ROV tooling.
- Monitor subsea and ROV service providers, offering vital project management support and troubleshooting pressure control equipment issues.
- Extensive, proven experience in a closely related subsea advisory or engineering position within the oil and gas sector.
- In-depth understanding of subsea completion, workover, and light well intervention units including semi-submersibles, jack-ups, and multipurpose vessels.
- Strong expertise in subsea system hydraulic modeling, well surveillance, and production optimization.
- Demonstrated organizational, technical judgment, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in harsh offshore environments with changing priorities and a willingness to travel or live away from home for extended periods.
