About the Role
Bridgemead Consulting is seeking an experienced Technical Assistant to provide technical leadership for Whitehouse Design Curators across its real estate development, construction, and property projects. This pivotal role oversees technical project delivery, land and property due diligence, regulatory compliance, construction quality, procurement, and operational efficiency while serving as a key technical adviser to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical planning, supervision, and delivery of construction and property development projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct technical due diligence, feasibility assessments, site investigations, and property acquisition reviews.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to ensure technical integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee land acquisition due diligence, title verification, survey plans, and statutory approvals with relevant government agencies.
- Monitor project quality, timelines, budgets, contractor performance, and technical risks.
- Supervise the Procurement Manager and Facility Manager to ensure quality sourcing and safe, operational facilities.
- Develop and implement technical SOPs, quality assurance processes, and project governance frameworks.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or real estate development.
- Strong working knowledge of the Nigerian Land Use Act, building regulations, and statutory approval processes.
- COREN registration for engineering professionals or relevant professional body membership.
- PMP or recognized project management certification is an added advantage.
