About the Role
Mikano International Limited, Nigeria's foremost power solutions and manufacturing leader, is seeking a talented and driven Tendering & Design Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in bridging technical design with commercial tendering, ensuring our power and infrastructure projects meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive technical designs, electrical blueprints, and cost estimates for power generation and infrastructure projects.
- Review tender documents, prepare competitive bids, and manage the complete tendering process from inception to submission.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess project risks, material needs, and labor requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and develop practical solutions to complex electrical and engineering challenges.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project milestones, track budgets, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, project files, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven professional experience in electrical engineering design, project management, or tendering within the power or manufacturing sector.
- Strong proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and relevant project management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, and industry safety standards.
