About the Role

Albarka Healthspring Foundation (AHSF) is seeking a dynamic, experienced Team Lead (Internal) to oversee third-party monitoring for an innovative social protection project in Borno State, funded via GIZ/SEPIN-SUSI. In this pivotal role, you will drive accountability, transparency, and high-quality service delivery for vulnerable populations across Northeast Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall coordination to ensure successful project implementation, keeping all activities strictly on track.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with GIZ SEPIN-SUSI staff, support facilitators, and ad hoc team members.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication with state officials, local government representatives, and community leaders.
  • Oversee quality control checks to ensure all assignment outputs meet rigorous professional standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including activity reports, meeting minutes, and strategic records.
  • Prepare final comprehensive reports featuring actionable lessons learned, recommendations, and sustainability strategies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in humanitarian or development programmes, ideally managing donor-funded projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with government MDAs, LGAs, CSOs, and international development partners.
  • Deep familiarity with Borno State political and administrative structures is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-supervision skills.
  • Mandatory fluency in local languages, particularly Hausa.
