We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional for the role of Team Lead Commercial Banking Officer to join our vibrant team in Lagos. In this strategic position, you will lead commercial banking operations, foster high-value client relationships, and drive business growth while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory policies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify commercial banking and financial service products that cater to specific customer needs while analyzing product profitability and market impact.
- Lead relationship management initiatives, conduct regular client meetings, and align comprehensive banking solutions with client business objectives.
- Evaluate customer financial strength, perform credit risk assessments, analyze financial statements, and structure credit proposals and loan terms.
- Implement effective complaint resolution strategies, turning customer feedback into service enhancement opportunities.
- Ensure branch operations run smoothly in compliance with regulatory requirements, cash management protocols, and internal policies.
- Recommend digital banking enhancements and leverage financial technology trends to optimize service delivery and eCommerce products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive commercial lending portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 8 years of cognate experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, and relationship management.
- Additional academic qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CIBN, ICAN, ACA, or ACCA are strongly preferred.
