Polaris Bank Limited, a leading Systemically Important Financial Institution in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as the Team Lead Commercial Banking Officer in Jos. In this strategic role, you will spearhead commercial banking initiatives, drive revenue growth, and provide exceptional financial solutions to our expanding customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and propose tailored retail and commercial banking products to meet specific customer needs while analyzing profitability and market risks.
- Build and nurture strategic client relationships, conducting regular reviews and aligning banking solutions with client business objectives.
- Evaluate customer financial strength, perform credit analysis, structure loan proposals, and manage credit risk effectively.
- Lead complaint resolution processes, using feedback to identify service gaps and enhance overall customer experience.
- Oversee advanced branch operations, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements, cash management protocols, and internal policies.
- Monitor fintech and digital banking trends, proposing innovative digital channels and solutions to optimize customer engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cross-selling opportunities and manage key commercial accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of cognate experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, and relationship management.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CIBN, ICAN, ACA, or ACCA are a strong added advantage.
- Deep understanding of commercial lending processes, credit underwriting, and regulatory frameworks.
