About the Role
Aztec Microfinance Bank Limited, a dynamic Tier 1 Unit-Based Microfinance Bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and insured by the NDIC, is seeking a diligent and integrity-driven professional to join our team as Team Lead. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our financial assets, managing cash operations, and ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and loss prevention policies.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily cash operations and ensure meticulous accuracy in financial transactions.
- Conduct regular and surprise stocktaking exercises to mitigate inventory shrinkage and discrepancies.
- Lead comprehensive loss prevention and internal audit investigations with absolute independence and firmness.
- Implement robust risk management frameworks and internal control procedures across operations.
- Maintain detailed records and generate comprehensive reports on audit findings, stock levels, and cash flow integrity.
- Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria regulations and internal banking policies.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Part-qualified status with ICAN or ANAN is considered a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in retail cash operations, hospitality cash management, internal audit, or loss prevention.
- Proven expertise in inventory stocktaking and shrinkage or loss investigations.
- Demonstrated high levels of personal and professional integrity, independence, and resilience under pressure.
- Strict eligibility criteria: No previous employment history with The Gallery, and no personal or family relationships with any employee or supplier of The Gallery.
