About the Role
Govana School is dedicated to building a solid educational foundation rooted in academic excellence, strong morals, and a lifelong love for learning. We are currently expanding our team and looking for dedicated professionals to join us as Class Teachers and Special Education Need Therapists, specializing in Speech, Behavioural, and Occupational therapy. In this role, you will help nurture our children to develop essential learning abilities, confidence, resilience, independence, and problem-solving skills in close partnership with parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the school curriculum to foster student growth.
- Implement specialized therapy programs for students requiring speech, behavioural, or occupational support.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and positive morals.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular, constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to improve educational activities and student support systems.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching or relevant therapy experience.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience with the Cambridge curriculum will be an added advantage.
- Residing within a 10km radius of Sunnyvale Estate, Abuja, is a strong added advantage.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications in education or special needs therapy.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
