In this role, you will play a vital part in preserving cultural heritage and imparting valuable language skills to our students. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about teaching, possesses a strong command of the Yoruba language, and is committed to academic excellence in a supportive classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a tidy, orderly, and engaging classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Create, develop, and distribute comprehensive educational content including lesson notes, summaries, and assignments.
- Assess and record students’ academic progress on a regular basis.
- Provide constructive grades and meaningful feedback to students and parents to encourage improvement.
- Plan and execute interactive lessons that promote fluency and cultural appreciation of the Yoruba language.
- Minimum of an NCE or B.Ed qualification in Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a teacher.
- Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational abilities and a passion for student development.
