About the Role
Orange Drugs is a renowned, fast-paced manufacturing and consumer goods leader with over 25 years of innovation in West Africa. We are currently looking for a strategic and results-driven Tax Manager to join our corporate finance team in Lagos, Nigeria, and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and governance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the organization's overall tax strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all statutory tax obligations, including CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Education Tax with the FIRS and LIRS.
- Manage complex tax audits, investigations, and disputes with minimal financial exposure.
- Develop and maintain compliant transfer pricing policies and documentation for cross-border and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and financial disclosures in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the internal tax team while managing relationships with external advisors and regulatory bodies.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 3 years in a Tax Manager capacity.
- Prior experience in the FMCG, manufacturing sector, or a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline; a postgraduate degree or MBA is an added bonus.
- Mandatory professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CITN.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and financial statement analysis.
