About the Role
Ndano Energy Limited (NEL) is a premier Nigeria-based energy company operating across the downstream value chain with a specialized focus on the aviation sector. We are currently seeking a competent, safety-conscious Tank Farm Operator to oversee daily operations at our aviation fuel storage facility based in Lagos. In this role, the ideal candidate will ensure the safe receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of aviation fuel while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, store, and dispatch aviation fuel products safely and efficiently.
- Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and fuel quality daily to prevent contamination.
- Operate pumps, valves, meters, and loading equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of tank farm equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE, NMDPRA, and NCAA regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movement, deliveries, and stock losses.
- Prepare fuel for secure delivery to clients and into aircraft bowser trucks.
- Respond promptly to operational emergencies and participate in regular safety drills.
- Ensure pristine housekeeping and general tidiness across the entire tank farm area.
- Possession of an OND, HND, or BSc in Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.
- Maximum of 1 to 2 years of post-NYSC professional experience.
- Prior working knowledge of a tank farm, fuel depot, or oil and gas facility is a distinct advantage.
- Must currently reside in Lagos, Nigeria.
