About the Role
Nsibidi Fables is a vibrant, Lagos-based animation studio, creative tech hub, and digital academy powered by a young team of world-class Nigerian creators. We tell powerful African stories through animation and digital storytelling, and we need an experienced Talent Specialist to build, nurture, and manage our growing creative talent pool. In this role, you will lead the charge in sourcing, briefing, and managing relationships with our extended network of voice actors, animators, writers, illustrators, and digital creators, ensuring we collaborate with the finest talent across the continent.
Key Responsibilities- Source, vet, and recruit top-tier African creative talent including animators, illustrators, writers, and voice actors.
- Build and maintain a robust, accessible database of freelance and contract creatives.
- Develop comprehensive creative briefs and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) for various studio projects.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with our extended network of external creators and artists.
- Coordinate with internal production teams to match the right creative talent with specific project requirements and deadlines.
- Represent Nsibidi Fables within the local and regional creative community to expand our talent pipelines.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in talent management, casting, creator partnerships, or production coordination within the creative industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing external creatives, writing detailed briefs, and handling Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Strong existing network and deep connections within the Nigerian and broader African creative space.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A passionate appreciation for animation, digital storytelling, and African narrative art.
