About the Role
Proten is an international Human Capital Development firm offering comprehensive training, coaching, and consulting services to clients across Europe and Africa. We are currently looking for a strategic and visionary Talent Recruitment Manager to lead our manpower planning, talent acquisition, and workforce mobilization initiatives from our Lagos headquarters.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor approved manpower against actual deployment, vacancies, and evolving business requirements.
- Develop and execute strategic manpower plans for greenfield and brownfield projects spanning construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations.
- Lead executive, technical, specialist, and high-volume recruitment across engineering, project management, operations, and maintenance functions.
- Build robust local talent pipelines and localization initiatives while maintaining access to international talent markets.
- Support organization design, workforce structures, position creation, job grading, and manpower optimization.
- Ensure all recruitment processes comply with company policies, local labor laws, and international regulations.
- Partner with business leaders and project management teams to deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
- Develop comprehensive workforce dashboards covering hiring progress, time-to-fill, recruitment costs, and pipeline performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team to drive continuous improvement in hiring effectiveness.
- 18 to 20 years of progressive HR experience with significant responsibility in talent acquisition and manpower planning.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior recruitment or workforce planning leadership role.
- Proven background supporting large manufacturing, petrochemical, oil and gas, power, infrastructure, or heavy industrial organizations.
- Strong expertise in mobilizing workforces for complex projects through all operational phases.
- Deep familiarity with both Nigerian and international talent markets.
- Advanced proficiency in strategic workforce planning, recruitment governance, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
