About the Role
Akintola Williams Deloitte, Nigeria's oldest indigenous professional services firm established in 1952, seeks an experienced Talent and Leadership Development Manager to lead comprehensive talent management and organizational development initiatives. This strategic role will directly impact organizational performance through talent optimization, leadership excellence, and continuous capability building across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement enterprise talent management frameworks, including annual talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential employee identification
- Design and deliver comprehensive leadership development programmes for all management levels, focusing on coaching, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking
- Create and manage Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for critical talent and successors, building internal pipelines for leadership roles
- Partner with HR Business Partners to identify capability gaps and drive organizational transformation initiatives
- Develop learning analytics dashboards to measure talent health, succession readiness, and leadership effectiveness metrics
- Design blended learning solutions aligned with business priorities, ensuring measurable improvements in operational performance
- Lead the development of structured learning academies, career pathways, and onboarding programmes
- Establish partnerships with universities and professional institutions to strengthen talent pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline
- Master's degree (MBA, MSc HR, Organizational Psychology, or Learning & Development) preferred
- Professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM-CP/SCP, CIPD, ATD) highly desirable
- Minimum 8–10 years progressive experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, or Learning & Development
- At least 4–5 years leading enterprise-wide initiatives in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-site organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership programme design, competency frameworks, and succession planning
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise-wide capability initiatives
