We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Tailor to join our dynamic team of creative professionals and educators.
Key Responsibilities- Construct high-quality garments from patterns, sketches, and design specifications with precision and care.
- Assist academy instructors in demonstrating sewing techniques, stitching methods, and garment assembly to students.
- Perform fittings, alterations, and adjustments on various types of fabrics and apparel to ensure flawless execution.
- Maintain sewing equipment, workstations, and studio tools in a clean, safe, and organized operational condition.
- Collaborate with the academic and creative teams to support students during practical design and production sessions.
- Ensure all finished pieces meet the premium quality standards expected by the academy and its clientele.
- Proven professional experience as a Tailor, Seamstress, or Garment Maker in a reputable fashion house or training institution.
- In-depth knowledge of various fabrics, sewing techniques, and the operation of industrial sewing machines.
- Ability to read patterns, cut fabrics accurately, and assemble complex garment structures efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and a passion for teaching or mentoring aspiring fashion designers.
- Relevant vocational certifications or professional training in fashion design and tailoring.
