About the Role
The Center for Clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN) is an indigenous, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting best practices in healthcare delivery, medical training, and research across Nigeria. We are currently seeking three qualified professionals to fill the role of Systems Strengthening and Transition Specialist. In this capacity, you will provide critical technical support to strengthen government capacity, foster institutional ownership, and build robust community systems to facilitate a seamless transition to a sustainable, government-led health response.
Key Responsibilities- Support the assessment of government institutional capacity and develop joint capacity-strengthening and transition plans with state and LGA authorities.
- Align project activities and technical assistance with government priorities, budgets, policies, and coordination structures.
- Facilitate the progressive transfer of skills, tools, functions, and accountability mechanisms to government structures.
- Map and engage community networks to enhance sustainable community participation and linkages with health facilities.
- Strengthen community-based approaches for demand generation, service uptake, follow-up, and continuous patient care.
- Track transition milestones, identify institutional risks, and implement data-driven corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of transition milestones, lessons learned, and evidence of sustained government ownership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Community Health, Public Administration, Health Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in health systems strengthening, government engagement, and public health programming.
- Demonstrated experience working with state and LGA government structures and community systems within Nigeria.
- Proven ability to facilitate government-led transitions, institutional capacity building, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
