About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated System Administrator to ensure the stability, performance, and security of our entire IT infrastructure in this fully onsite role based in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Manage enterprise networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and core network services.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash, and utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Enforce IT security policies, manage endpoint security, patch management, SSO, MFA, and incident response procedures.
- Execute seamless employee onboarding and offboarding, managing hardware, software, and MDM solutions across multiple operating systems.
- Provide expert L2/L3 technical support, manage IT assets, and resolve helpdesk tickets while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Perform system updates, security hardening, backups, and routine maintenance to guarantee high availability and minimal downtime.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in system administration, IT support, or network administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Active Directory, Directory as a Service, and Linux/Unix administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, enterprise networking equipment, and security monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash, alongside configuration management tools.
