About the Role
West Swiss Hotel, through Domeo Resources International (DRI), is seeking a qualified and experienced Surveyor to support the planning, measurement, costing, maintenance, renovation, and development of our physical infrastructure and property projects. The successful candidate will provide accurate surveying and technical information, monitor contractors, assess quantities, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site surveys, measurements, inspections, and assessments of hotel buildings and surrounding properties.
- Prepare accurate measurements, estimates, schedules of materials, and project documentation.
- Assist in the planning and execution of hotel renovation, refurbishment, expansion, and maintenance projects.
- Monitor construction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
- Verify quantities of materials used and review contractor valuations, invoices, and claims.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project budgets.
- Monitor project costs, identify potential variations, and conduct regular site inspections with progress reports.
- Liaise with Facility Managers, Civil Engineers, contractors, and architects to resolve technical matters.
- B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying, Land Surveying, Building Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in commercial, hospitality, or property development projects.
- Good knowledge of construction processes, measurements, materials, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant surveying, estimating, or CAD software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and contractor-management skills.
- Professional certification or membership in a relevant body is an added advantage.
